I have been so excited to finally blog Charlotte & Catherine’s Claxton Farm Wedding. When I met these beautiful ladies, they were living in New Orleans (where Catherine’s parents are) and were planning their move to Brevard, NC. I loved the way they looked at each-other, laughed a lot and were SO excited for the wedding. The couple was adamant the wedding be nothing short of an amazing party with their friends and family! They did not want a traditional or fussy wedding and their families were 100% supportive of this decision.
The brides spent the day with their wedding party before heading to Claxton Farm. After the ceremony, which was officiated by Catherine’s father, it was time to celebrate! The night was one big dance with party since the couple did not want intros or toasts. They did want the important first dance and dances with their fathers. In the 3 hours the band, Jessie’s Girls, played there was never an empty spot on that dance floor, in fact I am pretty sure Catherine (the blonde) never left it at all. The energy in that place was crazy-happy and infectious and something I felt for days following the wedding. Catherine & Charlotte wanted a celebration and that is what they had.
Charlotte & Catherine-I am so thankful to have been a part of your celebration-I smiled the whole time I wrote this. A huge thank you to Claxton Farm and all amazing vendors to make it all happen for these two amazing brides. My events are so wonderful because of what each of you do.
