There are words that just go together, like romantic and Fall wedding. Xoe and Ely came to Asheville to be married at Biltmore Estate’s historic Conservatory this past October. The couple, who hail from Illinois, have a love of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Ely even asked Xoe to marry him at Black Balsam Mountain here in Asheville. Xoe, an artist, had a beautiful vision on the wedding. I was thrilled when she brought in Alicia White to photograph the day.
The ceremony was held just before sunset in the Butterfly Garden and dinner followed inside the Conservatory. The feasting-style table was set to accommodate their closest friends and family. The floral, by Faith & Feathers, was lush and accented by an abundance of candles. It was cozy, intimate and very romantic. This is the kind of wedding that just makes you want to settle in and stay a while.
As I enter into a busy Fall 2019 weddings season, it was fun and inspiring to get to relive this amazing day. Thank you Eli & Xoe for letting me help you celebrate.
